Do you Accept Insurance?
Yes. I accept the following insurances:
Anthem, Aetna, Quest Behavioral Health, Carelon Behavioral Health
Do you work with couples and families? Does insurance cover this?
Yes, I work with both couples and families. Insurance does not cover therapy for the relationship/communication difficulties typically presented in couple and family therapy, so these services are self-pay only.
For some issues, short-term therapy may be a good option. Please see the "Short-Term Therapy" page.
What is your cash rate?
I charge $150 per 50-minute session for individuals, and $200 for couples/family units. Some sliding scale options may be available based on income and space in my practice. Please inquire.
Short-term therapy (6 sessions) for individuals and couples, when paid in full is $140 per session.
How do I work with you?
First, contact me to schedule a free, 15-minute consultation call. Here, we will have a chance to get to know each other a little bit and talk about what brings you to therapy. You can share what you’re looking for in a therapist, what you hope to work on, and ask any questions you might have about my approach or how I work.
This call is also an opportunity for us to see whether we feel like a good fit. There’s no pressure or commitment. It is a friendly, open conversation to help you decide what feels right for you as you take this next step in your care. I look forward to hearing from you!

What format do you use for sessions?
Currently, all sessions take place virtually, so you can join from the comfort of your own home or any private space where you feel at ease. I offer some in-person options for clients in Santa Cruz, California that are scheduling and treatment-dependent. Please inquire if you are interested in this option. After our consultation call, I’ll walk you through a simple online process to confirm your insurance and schedule your first session. It’s quick and straightforward, and I’ll make sure everything is set up so we can get started.
What should I expect in our first session?
In our first session, we’ll take some time to get to know each other and talk about what’s bringing you to therapy. I’ll ask a few questions about your background, what’s been going on recently, and what you’d like to focus on. This initial conversation helps me understand your needs and goals so we can create a plan that feels clear, supportive, and tailored to you.
